Sustainability Training (PAS 2060, GHG Inventory, ISO 14064-1)

For guidance on which sustainability course is most suited to your needs, take a look at our journey document here.

No matter what sector you operate in, our courses align with ESG (environmental, social and governance) sustainability solutions your organisation may want to put in place to strengthen relationships with customers and contribute to the long-term stability of life on Earth.

To show their commitment to protecting the environment, companies often claim to be carbon neutral, or that their emissions do not contribute to a net increase in global emission levels. In order to support your organisation, we have designed a number of courses to support you on this journey.

Our courses are designed to help you:

  • Reduce greenhouse gas emissions and combat climate change

  • Build better environmental policies

  • Invest in meaningful carbon offsets

  • Increase environmental transparency

  • Establish a responsible brand image including investing in your people

  • Strengthen customer loyalty

  • Meet the supplier requirements of sustainable brands

  • Comply with current and future environmental regulations

These training courses can support the first step towards achieving and maintaining verification for your organisation’s sustainability strategy.

NQA is also a proud CQI and IRCA Approved Training Partner, and you can find many CQI and IRCA certified courses within our portfolio.

Why Choose Sustainability Training?

The UK government has set a target for all businesses to become carbon neutral or achieve ‘net zero’ GHG emissions by 2050. This means that if you aren't doing so already, you will soon want to consider what actions your organisation needs to take in order to become more sustainable and meet the requirements.

To minimise the effects of climate change, countries need to significantly reduce their reliance on fossil fuels and their total greenhouse gas emissions. A large portion of which comes from commercial and industrial activities; therefore businesses must bear the responsibility for minimising emissions and improving overall environmental protection.

To support this further, with the current economic climate, investing in your people upfront to underpin these areas could encourage your ongoing growth through staff retention and commitment.

Different Ways to Learn

NQA offer e-Learning, virtual, public and in-house training options to suit all learning styles and needs.

Although much of our training is currently being held virtually, we are in the process of re-introducing some options for face-to-face public courses for those that like to interact in person with others. Keep an eye out for those coming soon.

Our e-Learning courses explain the fundamental concepts, structure and application of ISO management systems standards. From this foundation you can build the skills to implement, audit and optimise an effective management system and consists of online learning and  downloadable takeaways. It can be completed in as little as a few hours if you are short on time.

e-Learning is ideal for those new to the standards as it provides a foundation of knowledge from which to build the practical skills to implement, audit and optimise your management system for certification or verification.

The training sessions are designed to give you the knowledge you need to advance and grow and are delivered by industry experts. You’ll have the chance to interact fully with both the host and other delegates over Zoom for a rounded and immersive experience, just like you would in a classroom.
